Shizenjin Renewal

The rebranding project involved Shizenjin Mura in Fukagawa Valley, Tokyo. The comprehensive redesign covered architecture, logo, website, uniforms, reservation system, lodging operations, and social media marketing. The former campground was transformed into the Do-mo Tiny House accommodation, characterized by open glass doors and Tokyo-produced “Tama timber” for walls and flooring. Each building utilized different types of Tama timber to represent distinct traits, while interior walls showcased earthen, plaster, and cypress wood elements, reflective of the area’s features. The entrance lobby seamlessly connected old and new spaces, featuring natural-shaped window frames for a historical and natural ambiance. A locally-crafted reception counter embodied nature’s solemnity and human connection, incorporating inherited wood from previous generations.

東京都あきる野市深川渓谷にある自然人村のリブランディング。このプロジェクトでは、建築、ロゴ、WEBサイト、ユニフォームデザイン、予約システム、宿泊オペレーションシステム、SNSマーケティングなど、施工と運営に関わる全てのデザインを行なった。

建築分野では、これまでキャンプ場として運営されていた施設を、新たな宿泊施設『Do-moタイニーハウス』へと作り変えた。玄関部分に全ガラス扉を採用して開放感を演出。外壁材、デッキ材、フローリングなどの木材部分には、全て東京都の『多摩産材』を使用。各棟の特徴を表すために、異なった種類の多摩産材を採用し、内壁には地域の特色を利用した土壁や漆喰壁、檜材などを用いた。

エントランスロビーの設計では、もともとあった平屋空間を拡張することで新と旧を繋げ、窓枠部には直線的な形を避けた自然の形状を表現することで、豊かな自然と歴史を演出した。受付カウンターは地元の土木工が石積みを行い、天板材には先代から受け継ぐ一枚板を設置することで、コンセプトである自然の『荘厳性』と人の『縁』を具現化した。
